is a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Tang Soo Do Karate, a 1st Dan Black
Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and is President and Grandmaster (10th Dan) of the
World
Speed Brick Breaking Association (W.S.B.B.A.) and
World Martial Arts College,
having broken his previous W.S.B.B.A.
world record
of 584 bricks in 57.5
seconds by breaking: 726 bricks in 86 seconds at Metro Beach Metropark on August
2, 2008
(also certified by the
World Records Academy and
www.recordholders.org); and most recently by breaking 809
bricks in 3 minutes 59 seconds on September 12, 2009 in Mt.
Clemens, Michigan. Mr. Taylor holds Black Belts in Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do as certified by the
World Martial Arts
College (#100-008-04). As a martial arts leader in the community, Mr. Taylor is also a member of the United
States Breaking Association and is committed to bringing competitive
speed brick breaking to martial artists of all disciplines, ranks,
and nationalities. He also serves on the Martial Arts Board of
Directors of
Z.I.A.D. Healthcare for the Underserved. |

(No. 100-010-001) and Instructor with the
World Martial Arts College. Professionally, Mr.
Myers serves as the
Deputy City Manager of the
City of Madison
Heights, Michigan. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government
from Franklin and Marshall College, where he was elected to the
prestigious
Phi Beta Kappa national academic honor society,
Mr. Myers earned his Master's Degree in Governmental Administration
from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member
of numerous boards and commissions in Madison Heights, and he
previously served as the Assistant to the City Manager and
Director of Personnel and Special Projects for the City of Garden
City, Michigan. |
